Hi, I'm Shiloh.
Therapist. Human. Fellow work-in-progress.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, but long before the credentials, I am a human being who is deeply curious about our shared experiences—the stories we carry, the roles we adopt, and the ways we shape ourselves to find safety, belonging, and love.
You don’t need to arrive with a polished summary of what is wrong. You don’t even need to have the words for it yet.
Whether you are feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, or questioning why a life that looks good on paper feels heavy inside, this space is for those messy, undefined parts of yourself. If you are tired of being the strong one or keep finding yourself stuck in the same thoughts, that is a perfectly fine place to start. We will figure the rest out together.

Therapy isn't always about becoming someone new. Sometimes it's about finding your way back to yourself.
You won't find a blank-slate therapist here.
I believe therapy works best when you’re sitting across from a real, present human being.
I’m warm and engaged, but I also show up with an active voice. You won’t spend our time together met with a blank stare or silent nodding while you wonder what I’m thinking. I’ll be right there with you, asking the kind of thoughtful questions that help us dig deeper.
We’ll have real conversations where I help you notice the threads and patterns that are hard to see from the inside. There is plenty of space here for grief, anger, and the heavy stuff, but I also leave plenty of room for laughter.
I won't tell you who you should become. My job isn't to make you more agreeable, productive, positive, or palatable.
My job is to help you hear yourself more clearly.
I won't tell you therapy always feels good.
There will be times you leave here feeling a deep sense of relief, like a weight has finally been lifted and you can see yourself clearly again. And honestly, there will be days that just feel heavy.
You might walk away feeling exposed, raw, or completely drained. This happens because we are finally turning toward the things you’ve spent years protecting yourself from, and that kind of honesty is hard. But this discomfort isn't a sign that you're failing—it's a sign that you're actually doing the work.
My goal isn't to push you through pain for the sake of it. It’s to help you learn how to hold steady when life gets messy, so you can listen to what your emotions are trying to say and move forward without leaving yourself behind.
Healing isn't avoiding pain. It is realizing that when life hurts, you can stay present and never be alone.
We'll identify when to engage—and when to embrace a pause.
We all find our own way of being human.
The modality is a tool. You are not a treatment protocol.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy incorporates eye movements as part of its structured approach and may be appropriate for certain clients and concerns.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to healing. You are a person, not a protocol, and our work should reflect that. My background includes training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), alongside specialized experience in PTSD and sexual trauma. Depending on what you’re carrying, we’ll move between understanding your patterns, tending to the diferentes ‘parts’ of your story, and processing old survival responses. Whether we are building boundaries or reconnecting with your body’s wisdom, we will tailor the process to help you trust your own internal signals again.
We will find the right path for your needs.
You just need to feel that something isn't right anymore. We don't need a map to start walking together.

Get to Know the Person You are Working With Today
I am a native Texan who enlisted in the United States Navy soon after high school. That decision launched a journey across the country, leading me to live and practice mental health care in diverse settings across Alaska, California, Texas, Minnesota, and South Carolina. These varied landscapes have influenced my perspective far beyond a professional list of credentials. I have developed a deep reverence for the unique ways individuals navigate love, family, and hardship to create meaning in their worlds. My travels and service have fundamentally redefined my understanding of resilience. Often, we are taught that endurance is the only form of power. However, I have learned that true strength also resides in the moment you realize you no longer have to carry the heavy weight of your world alone.
When I'm not sitting in the therapist chair…
Beyond the office, I am a mother, a wife, and a Navy veteran who finds grounding in nature and a good cup of coffee. I enjoy exploring antique shops or diving deep into psychology, folklore, and tarot as ways to uncover how we make meaning of our lives. I feel most at home among the mountains, old treasures with history, and an ever-growing collection of houseplants. Usually, I’m accompanied by my two small rescue dogs, who aren’t shy about sharing their own very big opinions on the world.
